Outcomes Framework

University outcomes, program outcomes

Concordia University Wisconsin states six university learning outcomes for every graduate. The MSAI proposal renders each as two program learning outcomes — twelve in all.

Where these outcomes come from. In the MSAI workbook the PLOs | ULOs sheet carries only the labels PLO 1 and PLO 2 under each university outcome, with no outcome text at all. The outcome statements live instead in column B of the workbook's Assessment sheet, beside the curriculum map, and are reproduced here verbatim. The short label on each outcome is editorial shorthand added for display; the statement itself is the workbook's own wording. One consequence is visible below: the workbook states the same outcome twice, as PLO 1.1 under Christian Faith and again as PLO 3.2 under Integrated Disciplinary Knowledge, with identical curriculum-map rows.
